  ABOUT

I am very excited to have settled down in Palm Springs and be starting my second year teaching at CVC. I was born and raised in a small town in upstate New York. That hasn’t stopped me from doing big things and exploring the world. Since childhood I have been a traveler both locally to different states and internationally to Europe. This is why it was without hesitation that I packed up my life and made the cross country trek to PSUSD after attending a teacher recruitment fair. In one week I had gone from one of the coldest parts of the country to one of the hottest in Palm Springs. Shortly after my move to the West Coast I flew out to Australia to complete my Bachelors of Arts Degree with dual teaching credentials in Birth-Grade 2 and Grades 1-6. Teaching in Australia has taught me the importance of implementing project based learning and being a lifelong learner. When not teaching, I can be found spending time with my husband and fellow teacher Mr. Gordon and our two cats. I can also be spotted going for runs with our cocker spaniel, Zoey or catching a ride up the aerial tramway for a mountain hike.

I am thrilled to be teaching your child this year and look foward to working closely with you :D

I facilitate thinking. I engage minds. I listen to questions. I encourage risk. I support struggle. I cultivate dreams. I learn every day. I TEACH.
